  • Decades of functional experience in one of the above categories with an average of 20 years in a senior director, managing director, or C-level role
  • Past responsibility for a large department, enterprise function, business unit/division, or entire company
  • Experience with successful change management, usually with multiple companies
  • Experience with selling and/or acquiring companies
  • High emotional intelligence and more than a modicum of humility
  • A recognition that helping others is the highest calling
  • And of course, experience working in the Middle Market
